Summary

In Chapter 29, Val works on Alex’s face once more. Val explains she never thought she would enjoy another woman’s company. She says that Val, which is short for Valentine or Valentina, is not her real name. Val promises she will leave quickly when she has completed her part. Einstein will stay with Val either until things are finished successfully, or if things go south. Val explains he can go to Beijing to see Zhang.
