Summary

In Chapter 18, Ezra flashes Morse code and Cassidy asks for forgiveness. He says “always.” The next morning, his mother wakes him very early, announcing that he has company. He finds Cassidy downstairs, petting Cooper and asking if Ezra had forgotten about the team breakfast. Ezra knows there wasn't a team breakfast planned but plays along. Cassidy says they are eating at her house and suggests they take Cooper along. Cassidy takes Ezra on a geocache. It's a small capsule and the seeker has to solve puzzles to find it. There are sometimes small treasures inside, such as toys. Anyone who takes something is supposed to leave something in its place. They find the geocache and Cassidy signs “Owen” to the online log. She says that's her brother and that it's a game they used to play.
