Point of View

The Atlantis Plague is a fictional account of the evolution of life on planet Earth and is told from several first person perspectives. The narrative is reliable and consistent, each perspective clearly defined and well developed. While the story could have been told from a single perspective, it is likely that the impact of the story would have been lost had that been the case.

The main character, Kate Warner, is a scientist who is studying how autism affects people and searching for a cure. She has no idea in the beginning that she retains the memories of one of the two Atlantean evolutionary biologists who came to this planet to study our evolution when man was still in Neanderthal stages.
