Chapter 10 and Chapter 11 Summary

In Chapter 10, Doyle finds himself in 1810 in the gypsy tent. He meets Richard, tells him Romany is dead, and flees the camp with Lord Byron. Nearby, the thing that is Romany has come to see the ending of Doyle and is furious that Doyle still lives. Romanelli, back in Greece, is told by the Master to keep Byron alive after he explains that he believes Romany is dead. The Master tells him to travel to London to find out what has occurred. Meanwhile, Darrow meets with Dog Face Joe in his hair removal parlor. Darrow tells Dog Face Joe how he dies. Horrabin, in Rat Castle, entertains himself by killing his beggar lords as he waits for Romany. Romanelli instead arrives, and Horrabin realizes Romanelli is bleeding profusely as a result of his magical travel. The Luck of Surrey...
