Summary

Chapter 19 begins with another game of "Tell Me Three Things" between Jessie and SN, during which Jessie admits she is hungover from the previous night. Jessie also tells him where she works. She goes downstairs to find her father making pancakes, and the two begin to argue. Jessie realizes that she has been avoiding her feelings of anger with her father, and finally lashes out at him for failing to take her opinion into account before moving to LA. Later, at the bookstore, Jessie sees Caleb enter and figures he must be SN. Convinced she has figured out his identity despite the fact that Caleb does not acknowledge their online interactions, Jessie asks him out for coffee. Caleb agrees, and when Jessie returns home, she messages SN with an oblique reference to their supposed real life interaction, which SN does not understand.
