Book Two, Part Fourteen, Chapters 85-95 Summary

In Chapter 85, Swan meets Macklin, who she knows is the skeletal rider on the tarot card. Friend tries to draw the crown's location out of Sister's head. Brother Timothy is brought in to threaten Swan and Sister for information—they are given until dawn to give Friend the crown. Friend is still afraid of Swan. Her presence clears Macklin's mind and he realizes Friend is evil.

Swan and Sister are taken to Sheila's trailer in Chapter 86. She is an RL who is haunted by a baby crying. Swan comforts her and they convince Sheila to retrieve the glass ring for them.

In Chapter 87, Friend searches for the glass ring buried in Rusty's grave. Though he cannot find it, he is comforted by the fact that it is buried deep underground.
