Summary

In Chapter 16, Drew watched as Clint, Jared, Michaela, and Willy gathered in front of Evie’s cell. As Drew raised his weapon, Angel pressed a chisel into his neck warning him that she would cut his jugular if he did not drop his gun. Unfortunately for Angel, there were five more men, including Frank, holding guns behind her. Angel let go of Drew as ordered and went to stand with Norcross and the others. Willy raised his gun but the pains in his chest made the move difficult. Clint took the gun from him. The five men facing Evie in her cell raised their guns and Evie seemed pleased that the shootout was about to begin. Clint, however, threw Willy’s gun on the ground. Evie expressed her disappointment when the men aiming guns at her put theirs down as well...
