Summary

Chapter 25 – As Simon reveals in narration that “Jacques a dit” is roughly the French translation for “Simon Says,” he describes how desperate he is for Blue to acknowledge him at school the next day, and how jumpy he is whenever anyone tries to get his attention. At rehearsal, Cal reveals that he is bisexual, and that he would like to hang out with Simon sometime. Afterwards, Leah and Abby and Nick are teasingly excited about the possibility of Simon having a date, but Simon feels like he already has a boyfriend, even though Blue is not answering Simon’s emails – “someone,” he comments in narration, “who seemed to like me better before he knew who I was” (206).
