Summary

In Chapter 14, Emma felt like she was only a step above the man who had kidnapped Aiden after she realized how badly she had messed up for forcing him to go deeper into the woods than he wanted to go. Stevenson told Emma to take Aiden home where the two of them could bond. Aiden seemed to relax in the car on the way home but when Emma turned on her street she saw news reporters lined up outside the house.
