Coming of Age

Sia by Josh Grayson is a very typical coming-of-age story. The main character Sia has a life-changing event when she wakes without any memories and it’s that event that prompts her into a serious evaluation of her life and choices. When Sia returns to school in an effort to regain her memories, she soon discovers that she doesn’t like the person she was. With that knowledge and her recent experiences of the kindness of the homeless people on the streets, Sia makes a conscious decision to change her life and her choices. Once she’s made that decision, she also becomes determined to change the lives of others as well.
