Chapters 22-23 Summary

Lindsay now works for Khadar. Khadar sent him to various places, like Palestine, to learn the various black market businesses. Khaled Ansari is in charge of Khadar's black market currency operations. He explains the function of black markets and currency markets to Lindsay. Khaled is a good teacher who is thorough and very knowledgeable. Lindsay works with Khaled after learning the market. He earns a good income and is living at the India Guest House and eventually rents an apartment in Colaba.

Lindsay wants to find out who set him up. Both Ulla and Karla are gone and nobody knows where.
