Chapters 46-50 Summary

President Hayes calls Anna to his office to explain about Mitch. He tells her they had to send him to Iraq on a top-secret mission and now he is coming back a hero. After their meeting, Anna goes back to work for the NBC, and the President attends the press conference. He tells the room they have gone into Baghdad and disabled Saddam's nuclear devices. He says Rudin divulged top-secret information and will have to answer criminal charges.

Albert Rudin knocks on Hank Clark's office door. He is angry with Clark because he thinks he is hiding away after telling Rudin to do everything. Clark apologizes and tells Rudin he is right, he is hiding, but Rudin took it all upon himself and now has to face the consequences. He steps towards Rudin and Rudin backs away.
