Big Tom’s Fall is the place where Joseph first meets Catalina, Diego, and Gabby. Gabby has slipped and fallen into the water beneath the waterfall. Joseph rescued her.

Cape San Blas Road

Cape San Blas Road is the road on which Jake faked his death. His semi-trailer burned for days after it exploded. It is also on Cape San Blas Road that Joseph forces the Mexican men who have come after Catalina to crash their car. Joseph kills them on the beach near this road when it is clear that they intend to kill him.

The Blue Tornado

The Blue Tornado is the iconic restaurant that Allie’s parents opened. The restaurant is closed because Jake encouraged Allie to borrow money against it. Allie was unable to pay the mortgage on the restaurant, and the bank foreclosed.
