David tries to follow the Soldier, knowing that he can't let him get away, and tries not to fall in the process. When the Soldier turns around to make sure he is still traveling in obscurity, his eyes casually sweep the area until they meet with David's and then he bolts. David gives chase, screaming loudly at the crowd to stop him. A Russian soldier understands and tries to detain Ben Essmann, and is shot in the chest for his trouble. Then the Soldier races into one of the underground tunnels that runs under most of the Olympic Village. David follows without hesitation, knowing he can't let this man get away. He continues to yell, dodging vehicles, until suddenly the Soldier steps out behind him. He tells David to be quiet...
