Chapters 23-26 Summary

Mr. Kasagi arrives back from his conference flushed with success. It wouldn't be long, he had been told, before he had his own school. On his desk is a pile of letters. The first one is from the bank. He is shocked. The bank tells him a check has bounced and they have charged the student account $30. The next letter says the same. Capricorn Anderson has donated $4000 of the school's money to charity.

Mrs. Donnelly arrives at Mr. Kasagi's request. When he tells her what Cap is done she replies that it is all Mr. Kasagi's fault. He must have known that Cap had no idea how to handle money.

Naomi begins to worry when Cap does not come back to school, stealing his school files in an effort where he is. Unfortunately his file is empty. Eventually she finds out...
