Chapters 13 and 14 Summary

After the beach, Alex and Katie are so busy that they don't see each other all week. Alex has to fight the urge to go to her house to see her because Katie doesn't have a phone to call her. Now that Katie has a bicycle, she is taking full advantage of getting around town and exploring areas that she didn't have time to explore before. She does find her thoughts drifting to Alex at times.

Katie realizes that she is attracted to Alex. She even thinks that he's the type of guy with whom she could fall in love.

Alex can't stop thinking about Katie either. He decides to keep the kids busy by taking them butterfly hunting. Then they go home to watch a movie. When the kids ask him what's for dinner, he takes them to Ivan's. Katie...
