Chapters 11-15 Summary

Reacher flies by helicopter to Manhattan. A Navy man meets him and drives him to Chinatown. Reacher spots two Chinese men walking from restaurant to restaurant, collecting extortion money. Reacher waits in an alley until they pass, then grabs them both, disabling them and threatening them with Trent's unloaded gun. Reacher tells the men that he is with Petrosian, and that the restaurants on the street will now be under Petrosian's protection. The men are stunned, and Reacher makes quick work of them, taking their money and knocking them unconscious. Quickly returning to the car, Reacher reverses his trip, and climbs back in the window of Trent's office an hour later. Harper is still in the outer office, thinking that Reacher has been working the files for six hours.
