Liz picks up a silver grey Volvo and while it drives itself to the airport, she digs into CopSpace to see how far the investigation has gotten. The car parks itself and Liz sees Kemal before he sees her. She walks up and welcomes him back to Scotland. On the way back to the station, he tells her that they have eight deaths so far, all occurring in a six-hour period and sharing characteristics with the murders she is investigating. They stop by his hotel so he can check in and drop his luggage, and while Liz is waiting, she decides that he has changed considerably.
