Chapters 12 - 22 Summary

In Chapter 12, Lexi waits for Cole at the theater in town, and is thrilled when he shows up. They hold hands and nestle up together during the movie. They go for a walk after the movie, and begin heading toward the ocean. Lexi says she has to go home to her grandmother, and Cole walks her to her car. They kiss, and Lexi is enthralled.

In Chapter 13, Lexi and her grandmother go food shopping. Lexi's grandmother encourages her to apply to all of the colleges she wants, and explains her rotary club is considering scholarships. They run into Sienna, who agrees to come over the following day, but wants to show Lexi something that afternoon.
