Chapters 21 and 22 Summary

Chapter 21. Mimi continues to plan the bonding ceremony with her mother and the event planner. Trinity, Jack and Mimi's mother, performs a sword ceremony to bless their upcoming bonding ceremony. Their father doesn't attend because he is depressed still from losing his position as the Regis, or head of the Blue Bloods.

Chapter 22. Schuyler, Bliss and Oliver are skipping school to visit Dylan in rehab. On the way, a song comes on the radio about love and Oliver says that love shouldn't be so torturous.

Chapters 21 and 22 Analysis

Ironically, Jack is acting like the bonding is going to be the worst day of his life instead of the most important day of his life. This is new behavior for him, since Mimi and he have always bonded in all of their past lives together.
