Summary

This section includes three chapters titled “The Fourth Visit”, “Just like your Baba”, and “Village Building” (271, 289, 301). “The Fourth Visit” is told from Niloo’s perspective in 2008 Istanbul. She and Gui arrive at the hotel and when she sees her Baba, she is not sure he is her father as he has aged significantly. She notices his back teeth are missing and hugs him carefully. Baba holds his green beads, and a cane with a lion’s head. Baba is excited to meet Gui, and this enchantment embarrasses Niloo.
