Summary

Though Alex is used to upsetting his mother, she is especially angry about the debacle in the press over the wedding incident. Alex is confronted by Zahra, his mother's deputy chief of staff, and she shows him how the media, particularly tabloids, are laser-focused on the incident. Because his mother cannot deal with the optics of a potential diplomatic row with the British Royal family, Alex agrees to a staged friendship tour with Henry. He is provided with a fact sheet of Henry's likes and dislikes, which invites even more scorn from him. Once in England, Alex meets with Shaan, Henry's equerry, and is made to sign a number of non-disclosure agreements. While there, Alex stays in the Kensington Palace guest quarters, where at night he accidentally comes across Henry, who comes to get his favorite Cornetto ice cream from Alex's fridge.
