Chapters 5-9 Summary

In Chapter 5, Hayley looks outside Stella's kitchen window, watching the summer evening activities as Lily plays with Logan. It's an evening filled with lazy contentment, and she remembers days like this when she was a child. Now she is the mother.

She talks with Stella about how good life is, and she dreams about how wonderful it would be to have someone as crazy about her as Logan is of Stella.
