Part 5 Southby, Chapters 74-82, pgs. 394-435 Summary

The Titanic was on the final leg of its journey to New York. There was a lot of air and marine activity around the boat, the closer to New York it went. Thousands of people were watching as the Titanic was towed under the Verrazano Bridge on its way to the old Brooklyn Naval Yards. The New York City fireboats sprayed their hoses in honor of the Titanic's arrival. The fireboats all rang their whistles and the cars on shore sounded their horns and the Titanic reached port.

Pitt takes a cab to the Pierre Hotel where he tries to check-in under an assumed name. A voice behind him tells the clerk to give him their best suite and gives the clerk the information for charging the expenses. The man was Gene Seagram...
