Summary

Chapter 19 shifts focus to Sancho. Sancho regrets robbing HT, but he is desperate to return to Beautiful, Kansas to see the woman with whom he is in love. Using money that he stole from HT, Sancho buys a bus ticket to Kansas. Grillo the cricket appears to Sancho and warns him that, if any metaphysical connection still remains between Sancho and Quichotte, there could be major consequences for Sancho. Grillo also urges Sancho to consider morality. However, Sancho ignores Grillo and remains focused on his quest of love. He has faith that his quest will grant him a stable identity and personal fulfillment. During his journey, another spirit appears to Sancho in the form of a woman. Sancho refers to her as ‘the blue fairy.’ She warns that Sancho is being to hasty and that sudden declarations of love are often seen as creepy...
