Jack insists that Julia call in the Army because he says there's no way to be certain all the swarms are dead. Julia picks up the phone and tries to call but finds the line dead. Jack believes that the actions of Julia and of Ricky - who suggests she try again - are forced and that they seem to be acting. They go to look at the main phone wiring boxes and discover that Charley is dead in the room with a swarm around his head. Ricky says that Jack must have brought the swarm inside with him but Jack is skeptical.
