Part 2: Chapters 16-19 Summary

A Fighting Chance. Julian continues to pressure Catherine into a relationship, unaware of her engagement to Paul. They fight one day while riding in Julian's new Cadillac, causing Julian to leave Catherine by the side of the road. Catherine is forced to take a taxi and beg money from her roommate and fellow dancer, Yolanda. Yolanda forces Catherine to promise to set her up with Christopher for the money. They fight when Catherine refuses. Catherine moves out, insisting Madame Zolta pay her more so she can afford a small apartment on her own. With the news that the dance company would be going on tour in London, Catherine and Julian make amends.
