Summary

Chapter Twenty-seven

In Chapter Twenty-seven, Mr. Hoffman enters the lab with Fisk. Fisk asks Merrin what it is that she and Elias can do. Merrin refuses to answer so Fisk tells her that he believes the ability that her twin brothers have to walk across water twice as fast when they are together is because of a quality that they share with their mother, Merrin and Elias. When Fisk refers to Ones as genetic problems, Fisk tells her that Ones are a sign that something has gone wrong genetically. He says that something must be done to ensure that Ones don’t continue to develop as they will weaken the Super race.
