Summary

Chapter Five

In Chapter Five, Elias admits to Merrin that he is a One also. His sisters are able to teleport. Merrin finds herself admitting to him that she is a One and her brothers are Supers. Almost against Merrin’s will, Elias introduces her to some of his friends. They are planning on studying calculus later and want Merrin to join the group.

Chapter Six

In Chapter Six, at Elias’ house, Merrin learns that his family is rich. The house is overseen by a robotic service and identification engineer named Rosie. Rosie is one of the things that Elias’ mom is working on at the Hub. Inside Elias’ bedroom, Merrin learns that all four of the students who have gathered are all Ones. They, like Merrin, are all seeking to try to develop their second gift to become true Supers...
