Point of View

One of Us Is Lying is told from the first person point of view of the four different students who are accused of Simon’s murder. Addy, Nate, Bronwyn, and Cooper narrate their stories as they go through the investigation of Simon’s death. These different points of view are important because the novel is a coming of age story for all of the main characters. Each character gets equal emphasis as they change in their opinions of themselves and each other.
