Summary

Chapter 16 – Javier is devastated by the news of Ellen’s death. Mei-Mei later reports that Zaya is in Miami, Florida with around a hundred men. Tristan explains their own Resistance can count on around 200 people to attend. Drego and Dahlia agree to go to Miami to see what Zayad is up to. Dahlia believes that Zayad is merely a pawn in a larger game. She believes the group is too focused on Zayad and not enough on C-8. She explains that Miami is not Zayad’s area of influence and that he seems to have no clear goal. She adds that there is no way a terrorist will win in America, and that he will face too much kickback. No one is happy with Dahlia’s analysis, but Anja believes her, and goes home with her to the Bronx.
