Chapters 15 and 16 Summary

Leah has taken some pamphlets from work about addiction. She gets off the bus and starts to walk towards Number 37. Before Leah gets to the house, she throws up in the bushes in front of what used to be her childhood church, but is now apartments. When Leah reaches Number 37, she slides the pamphlets into the mail slot.

Leah thinks about how she searched for a home remedy, but can only come up with hat pins and gin baths. Since she knows this won't work, she is sitting in the office with her old credit card from college so that Michel won't see it. She thinks about the procedure when she had it in college. The doctor was counting down backwards from ten and by the time he gets to seven, Leah is asleep. When she wakes up, she thinks minutes...
