Sully goes to The Horse and begins drinking beer. He is drinking after taking pain killers. His knee is throbbing and the scene with Vera has drained him. Wirf arrives and sits next to him. Carl comes in with a young woman whom he introduces as Deidre. Carl is drunk even though it is only one in the afternoon. They have a fight.
