Wednesday, pp. 111-147 Summary

The interstate highway basically by-passes North Bath so The Horse is one of the few restaurants that is open year round. Many others are open only for the racing season. The Horse staff and clientele also change for those two months. After those two months, the locals appear again. Tiny Duncan, the owner of The Horse, is another local who thinks of moving to Florida.

Sully is at The Horse with Vince and Wirf. Wirf is Tiny's best customer and Sully is upset that Tiny never buy rounds for the regulars. Sully is angry in general and at no one in particular. Sully and Wirf pay their bill and leave.
