In Runes Jeremy finds that Botnick's shop is still closed. He is waits there until Jaime appears. They walk into the tattoo shop next to it, where a woman in her late twenties in black hair tells her she also doesn't know anything what happened to Botnick. After a short conversation they meet Hope. Her research indicates that children who are missing are not reported. They consider how to raise the dead bodies.

They break into Botnick's shop again, searching bags and body parts of people who died mostly accidentally. There is one victim that died in a helmet not accidentally.
