In Escape Hatch Botnick finds Jaime, but Jeremy attacks him, disabling his movements when putting his arm around his neck. His grip makes Botnick full of awe. He thinks Jeremy belongs to the group that found the key to true magic. Jeremy confirms his suspicions to find out more about this group. Botnick reveals that a shared lover disclosed that the group breached the barrier to true magic. This magic has been found through sacrifice.
