Chapters 21-25 Summary and Analysis

In Chapter 21, Madness, China and Reymundo shared a bed at Maria's although she still wouldn't have sex with him. She was saving herself for marriage. Reymundo got revenge on the Gaylords. Reymundo was disgusted by the Lords extreme violence and decided never to be a member of that gang.

In Chapter 22, Rosie, back at school Reymundo developed a crush on Miss Popularity, Rosie. She was not impressed and would barely speak to him. China, disappointed that he had become a hardcore gangbanger, moved in with her father. Reymundo was happy to see her go, since it opened the door for him to date Rosie.

In Chapter 23, Convenient Agreement, Lalo of the Kings went with Reymundo to answer to the Unknowns about beating Speedy. Lalo and J.J., the leader of the Unknowns, agreed that Speedy and Reymundo will fight...
