Chapters 11-15 Summary and Analysis

Bram arrives at the dock and is amazed by the activity taking place around him. Kelly warns Bram that if he is found stowing away he will have to deal with the captain, then takes him to the animal hold where Modoc is waiting. A large cannon is chained to the wall of the hold, and this cannon will play an important part in the fate of Bram and Modoc in the days to come.

Bram thanks Kelly and reunites with Modoc, relief filling his heart. Modoc is introduces to Kelly and the transportation chief can tell how close Bram and Mo are.
