Chapters 24-27 Summary

In chapter 24, after discussing the case with Roux, Lucas stops at a sandwich shop to pick up dinner before going to his office at Davenport Simulations. While in the shop, Lucas thinks he sees a van with a man watching him. Lucas calls for back up and then confronts the man, but it turns out to be some random thieves who wanted to carjack him. At his offices, Lucas talks with the cops who have been assigned to watch the building. There has been no sign of Mail so far. However, the software developer, Ice, who was the star of the press conference and tells Lucas that someone is watching her house. In chapter 25, Lucas goes to Ice's house and slip her out with an undercover cop. Lucas watches the street for signs of Mail, but sees nothing. However, Mail is...
