Chapter Three Summary

Alex is envious of Casey's large, modern home. She is not envious, however, of his clutter. The home is full of trash, dirty dishes, dirty laundry and beer cans. She finds unspoiled food in the refrigerator and fixes breakfast while Casey showers. Although Casey's kitchen equipment is high tech, it doesn't make up for the fact everything is so dirty. As she watches Casey eat the two share a little about their backgrounds. Casey dropped out of college his senior year to buy a plane and begin his cargo business. It is from this business he earned his current riches.
