Summary

Almost immediately the group begins to struggle with the extreme cold of Niflheim. Hearthstone uses a fire of life rune to keep them alive, but has trouble sustaining the rune. Magnus and Blitzen worry that he effort of so much magic will hurt him. Magnus tries to summon the power of Frey, but doing so makes him dizzy. They work in teams to move the Big Banana through the ice, switching off between working and resting below decks.

They see a peninsula and decide to walk across the ice to it in pairs. Alex and Magnus pair up, huddling together. The temperature is so low the struggle to even keep moving.
