Summary

In Chapter 4, Ani returns to a description of her high school days. She made two major changes in her first days at Bradley. First her mother took her to the mall and bought her an entire new wardrobe. Then she had her hair dyed. Because the expensive stylist did such a bad job Ani and her mother had to get a bottle of color from a drug store to repair it. Ani thought the resulting color was beautiful but noted it lasted about as long as her popularity at Bradley.

Although Hailey and Olivia seemed to warming to Ani, Ani continued to sit with the Shark, Arthur, Teddy and Sarah at lunch. The Shark shared information with Ani that if she played a sport she would be able to get out of PE. Ani decided to join the cross country team, which just happened...
