Summary

In Chapter 2, Ani goes back in time to her high school years to describe how her mother talked about how rich and influential the Main Line was during the year between her eighth and ninth grade years in school. Ani had attended an all-girls Catholic school up to that point. It was because she smoked weed with her friend Leah that Ani was sent to The Bradley School, a school on the Main Line. She believed it was on the day she first attended that school that her real education began.
