Good Versus Evil

The people in the Land that Thomas Covenant is taken to speak of a person called the Creator. While no one can describe with any certainty what he is or where they do say that he created the earth and is the enemy of Lord Foul. The creator is described as someone who cares for the earth but can't take out Lord Foul directly because if he does then he will release him from the confines he has. The creator is essentially described as the good.

The evil is Lord Foul. The plains people call him the gray slayer, giants call him soulcrusher, Bloodguards call him corruption, the Ramen call him Fangthane the Render, some call him the Despiser, and his power of Evil they call despite.
