Chapter 17-18 Summary

Thomas changes clothes so that he is no longer wearing the things that Drool Rockworm can find. They are sleeping and Foamfollower waked Thomas up to tell him that the Ranyhyn have seen the wolves that are hunting them as they travel. The travelers get up to go but leave a small group of the Eoman to lay an ambush. The Eoman left behind are supposed to disperse the wolves and lead a trail going the wrong way. They are thinking that Drool doesn't know what they are doing will loose them if he looses the fresh trail. As they travel the Eoman left behind don't catch up to them.
