chapter 8-9 Summary

Thomas woke on the rocks by the river that Lena had taken him to. It took him a moment after waking up to remember what had happened and what he had done to Lena. After he remembered everything that happened he got up and expected to find the Sundowners coming after him. He remembered how strong Trell looked and worried that he would be killed but realized that the morning had come already and no one was after him.
