Summary

Chapter 6 is titled “Five Things Easier to do Than Simeon's and Kenzi's Secret Handshake,” and this chapter winds up on Chestnut Street. The two main characters of this chapter are Simeon Cross and Kenzi Thompson. The boys live in the same apartment building, but are very different in appearance. Simeon is big for his age. As class dismisses, Simeon waits by the door and everyone gives him a high five except Ty, who rushes out. Kenzi is small for his age. No one makes fun of him because of Simeon's size. Kenzi carries a blue bouncy ball everywhere he goes, and the ball and his size are the only things that set him apart from the other boys.
