January Lia Summary

Lia is waiting on an elderly couple, the woman is acting like Evil Granny, when she looks over the crowd and spots someone who causes her to run to the kitchen, gasping for breath. She takes a drink of water and leans against the counter; Becky asks her if she's seen a ghost. Lia tells her something like that. She straitens up, tucks her white shirt back into her black toreador pants and peeks through the door. It is Merrill from Parents Together, the one who'd gone on about the Make-a-Wish people failing to provide her dying son's wish to visit a porn star. She is with her husband and a little boy.
