December Ayinde Summary

Ayinde takes Julian to the doctor for a checkup and apologizes that they missed his six-month checkup. She says that they've been busy, wondering if it were possible the doctor hadn't heard what was going on. Dr. Melendez checks him over and listens to his heart, then slips the bell to another spot on his chest and frowns, then listens again for a long time. When Ayinde asks if everything's all right the doctor asks her if anyone has mentioned to her that Julian has a heart murmur. Ayinde asks how bad that is as her heart bangs in her chest and the doctor tells her lots of times it's no big deal, sometimes they heal themselves, but she'd like a cardiologist to take a listen. She gives her the name and number.....
