Summary

Chapter 8 – Jacob and some of the Hollows awaken. Jacob realizes he can now control Hollows to such an extent that he can possess them. He can control them all at once. Emma, Addison, and all their friends are amazed that Jacob can control the Hollowgasts. While Jacob, Emma, and Miss Peregrine take account of everyone, Wights begin hammering at the door to get in. Among the prisoners is Perplexus himself, captured by Caul in a fourteenth century loop. As they prepare to head into battle against the Wights, Jacob tells them they have all become family since the death of his grandfather. Horace gives Jacob a scarf he knitted for him for luck.
